The Media Production Department at TBLR offers ground-breaking digital video production services for ventures nationwide. Chris LaMont, Emmy-award-winning director and co-founder of the Phoenix Film Festival, brings ample expertise as the head of the department. The professional crew of media specialists shoots exclusively with professional Sony DVCAM broadcast cameras and uses a custom Media 100 non-linear editing system. Because the Media Production Department is able to compress directly from master digital tape, productions have perfect sound and picture quality. TBLR can capture any event, from personal interviews to live location shoots in classrooms or auditoriums. Because of his ties to the local film industry, Mr. LaMont is often able to provide professional actors and voice-over talent, adding an extra dimension to the production.
The Media Production Department employs single- and multiple-camera filming techniques and has the experience to deliver any size program on videotape, CD-ROM, streaming video and is now one of the first departments at ASU to offer DVD authoring. Our services are available for all departments at ASU that have video production needs as well as outside educational projects.
